It’s colorful, it’s bright, it’s…funny fashion!
Right now we are looking for the child that still exists deep down in all of us. Forget black and white and go for something bold and unusual. How about a sweater with XL-cupcakes? Or for the cat-ladies among us, what about a blouse with the print of your favorite animal?

This trend shows no boundaries! Nothing is too weird or too quirky. And it doesn’t skip the designer collections. Our favorite enfant terrible, Jeremy Scott goes with this trend for what seems to be the twentieth season in a row. Pop-culture referenced garments such as the Mc Donalds-sweater or the Spongebob-dress are legendary and his latest Barbie inspired collection for Moschino just brought this trend to a whole new level. Italian label Au Jour Le Jour goes with colorful fruit prints and cute dogs on sequin skirt and crop top. Speaking of sequins, there’s no getting around talking about Ashish and designer Ashish Gupta's love for everything that glitters. His entire collection consists of funny fashion and therefore fits this trend so well.

Wood Wood recently collaborated with Disney on a collection of Mickey Mouse inspired garments for a more subtle version of this trend and Kenzo created Picasso-esque faces on black cotton sweaters.

I myself am one of those people who could spend their whole life in dark clothes, but all those fun garments whet my appetite to go for a more colorful and quirky option very soon.
