Canada’s emerging talent will be the focus of the next edition of L’Oréal Fashion Week in Toronto. Scheduled to run Oct. 20-25, the 16th season of fashion week in Toronto will see the addition of a 200-seat venue to the main tent at Nathan Phillips Square in downtown Toronto. New designers showing at “The Studio” include Katya Revenko, Karamea, Aqua di Lara, Barila, Zoran Dobric, League of Lovers & Thieves and Janet Hill.

“From humble beginnings to great new heights in the Tents at Nathan Phillips Square, the word ‘fabulous’ encompasses all that L’Oréal Fashion Week has come to be,” says Robin Kay, President of the Fashion Design Council of Canada, which has been promoting L’Oreal Fashion Week aggressively through a new campaign seen at and The Daily during New York Fashion Week.

In all, over 50 designers from across Canada are expected to show during the five-day event, including established designers such as Alfred Sung and David Dixon to homegrown favorites Joeffer Caoc, Renata Morales, Andy Thé-Anh and Denis Gagnon.
