The American brand Woolrich has recently opened a new flagship store in Germany, in the center of West Berlin.

After opening a series of stores in 2014 and recently inaugurated stores in Amsterdam and Boston in 2015, Woolrich aims to reach over 80 stores worldwide by 2020.

The Woolrich store in Berlin, at Fasanenstraße 74, is located adjacent to Kurfürstendamm, a central premium shopping area of the German capital.

This new Woolrich concept store, designed by Japanese studio Wonderwall under the direction of Masamichi Katayama, measures 270 sq. meters and occupies two floors. The in-store furnishings see a fusion of heritage and the contemporary decors. Prints, pictures, modern materials and finishes are combined to emphasize the story of a brand which was born in 1830 and has always managed to remain contemporary while never forgetting its past.

This is the fourth Woolrich store to open in Germany, following those in Munich, Hamburg and Sylt. Further stores are projected to open in Germany’s other main cities in 2016.
