Multi-brand retailer Weekday is launching its new project, the unisex capsule collection MTWTFSS/HE.

The new project focuses on questions like: Why should clothes reflect society’s gender stereotypes? Isn’t it more important to focus on design? And how can we help people to express themselves?
Classic pieces from the Weekday wardrobe are reconstructed without a specific gender role. Leather jackets, jeans and black bombers are combined with white denim, checked organza and see-through details that should give them a contemporary edge.

Stereotypically male pieces such as lumberjack shirts are crafted in organza, and male closures are applied to skirts.

The aim is to give people the chance to exist as something more than male or female. The MTWTFSS/HE collection will be available in selected stores from week 5, 2014.
