For the upcoming edition of Milan Design Week, WP go back to their roots and back to their first collaborations, which date back to the 1980s, by participating in the eclectic architect Massimo Iosa Ghini’s latest exhibition. Held at Triennale di Milano, the exhibition documents the architect and designer's thirty-year career from the 1980s until today, and presents a wide selection of drawings, interior decoration and architecture projects, as well as objects, pictures and movies.

WP Lavori in Corso began a series of communication projects 30 years ago that were aimed at promoting its brands through unknown and innovative languages by utilizing new artists and illustrators. Among the various personalities was Massimo Iosa Ghini, who created many illustration panels for the Bologna based company.

All of the panels illustrated by Iosa Ghini that have been distributed by WP Work in Progress, including his futuristic architecture designs, and the illustrations he created for Vans, and other brands, will be exhibited at Triennale di Milano, from 9 April to 1 May 2013.

WP also decided to print these illustrations onto a limited edition of scarves. The scarves will be sold exclusively at WP Store in Milano from the opening day of the exhibition on.

After this initiative WP will begin to offer a series of limited edition reproductions of masterpieces by other artists and illustrators who have collaborated with the company since its very beginning, for instance: Filppo Scozzari, Tanino Liberatore, Giorgio Carpinteri, Marcello Jori, Luca Caccioni and Daniele Scarpa.

The Milan WP Store will also host an artistic installation of the Leva desk lamp designed by Iosa Ghini that will be presented for Euroluce 2013 and produced by da Leucos according to craftsmanship and sustainability concepts.
