This season’s edition of White Milano was held from September 22-24 and closed registering over 16,500 visitors with an 8% increase in buyers compared to September 2011. Foreign buyers as a whole grew by 12% and saw a particular increase in those from Japan, China and Korea, though the best performances were registered from European countries such as France, Denmark and Spain. Buyers included Beams, Isetan-Mitsukoshi, Itochu, Maisaki-Sanki, Sogo & Seibu, Takashimaya for Japan, Beijng Zi Zhen, Elle Shop, Fashion One, Harvey Nichols for China, Marimondo for Seoul, Barney’s New York, Saks Fifth Avenue for the US, El Corte Ingles for Spain, Galleries Lafayette, Le Bon Marché and Printemps for France.

Italian buyers also increased by 2% and featured names such as Antonia, Antonioli, Bernardelli, Giglio, Leam, Le Noir, L’Inde les Palais, Luisa Via Roma, Penelope, San Carlo dal 1973, Spazio Orlandi, Spiga 2 and Sugar. The 360 apparel and accessories collections on display, 238 of which were Italian and 115 foreign, covered an area of 16,000 sqm. Additional events organized by White also included the Stella Jean and Uma Wang fashion shows held at prestigious Milan locations.
