Big yellow bunnies, fine-meshed fences and dazzling neon tubes – just some of the interior details of the new concept store launched by the Swedish streetwear label WeSC in Stockholm on Feb. 25. Located on Jakobsbergsgatan 6, the shop is the first in line with a new interior concept designed by WeSC together and TEA Thomas Erikssen Architects and set to take over WeSC stores all over the world. Black cloth rails and storage racks, special glass cases, and marble elements forge a straight and clean atmosphere with some surprising details. A herd of yellow bunnies hanging down from the ceiling forms a so-called “animal catwalk,” which is a changeable light installation with different animals for each shop. The shop also features massive wallpaper with faces of WeSC ambassadors, called “Weactivists,” who support the brand’s message of a “superlative conspiracy.” The shop is open weekdays from 10-7 and offers the brand’s general assortment, including its new S/S 10 collection.
