Swedish retailer Weekday will open its first store outside of Scandinavia on Nov. 6. The location of the first German store will be Hamburg in the north of Germany and promises to look like no other, with designs from Weekday’s own labels MTWTFSS, Store Made and Weekday Collaborations mixed with Cheap Monday and great vintage finds. Every Weekday store is unique, of course, though they do share certain design elements such as color schemes and tilted angles. Weekday says it wants to create places that people want to return to. This also means that some of the interior design solutions might never have been tried before. Weekday started off as a tiny store on Lilla Essingen, Stockholm. It was called Weekend back then because it was only open Saturdays and Sundays. Over time, the owners added a perfect offering of vintage items to encourage customers to visit their Lilla Essingen location. Today Weekday have several stores in Sweden and in Denmark.
