Vente Privee, the market leader of private online shopping clubs, has opened its website for Belgium with immediate effect. Thus, the website now is available in seven countries in Europe. According to a study, Belgians like to shop online with over 36% of the Belgian population shopping online which makes up a potential target group of 3.8 million people. As it was anticipated, the first days of sale on the Belgian market were a success.

Vente Privee was founded in France in 2001. 2006 the website became available for Germany and Spain. Italy and the UK followed in 2008 and this fall Austria and Belgium. Vente Privee has over 11.5 Million users and offers a range of 1,200 different brands. In 2009, the company had 2,500 sales and sold 38 million products.
