For its latest menswear collection, Urban Outfitters teams up with creative director and clothing designer Jeff Staple - the man behind the creative agency Staple Design. The new Staple x Urban Outfitters collaboration is a nine-piece collection that reflects Staple's strong ties to New York City street culture.

Staple named the collection American History, which references "the constant struggle between the haves and the have-nots, which is very much a prevalent topic in this year's economic and political forecast." Staple clothing was previously only available in small boutiques and independent stores, and their collaboration with Urban marks a sea change for the 15-year-old company. "It was really important for us to work with a retailer that could help us spread our messages, and spread our word, into markets that we couldn't reach before," says Staple. "Urban Outfitters was the perfect partner to be working with for that."

The Staple x Urban Outfitters collection includes snapback hats, pants, sweaters, graphic tees and sweatshirts, and ranges from $28 for a tee to $98 for a varsity jacket.
