Uniqlo has announced its recent collaboration with Pharrell Williams. The renowned musician and music producer will be collaborator and spokesperson for the UT Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

The UT Spring/Summer 2014 collection comprises around 35 themes in more than 1,200 colors and patterns, and features a line in collaboration with Williams’s “i am OTHER” creative collection. Pharrell Williams will appear in the campaign advertisement and a TV commercial for the UT Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

The styles will include men’s and women’s t-shirts and caps, and will be available from mid-April in 14 countries and regions around the world. In addition, the new TV commercial for UT is to be released in April and will feature a song from Pharrell’s new album “G I R L”. The commercial and video of an exclusive interview will be available on the UNIQLO website from April.

Moreover, Uniqlo has disclosed the exact opening date of the brand’s announced entry into the German market. Uniqlo’s first Berlin flagship store will be opened on April 11, 2014, in the capital’s Tauentzienstraße 7. With a sales area of 2,700 sqm, the store will be Europe’s largest Uniqlo store carrying the brand’s complete womens, mens and kids collection. The opening will be accompanied by a ‘Berlin People’ campaign featuring local celebrities such as actor Daniel Brühl, model Eva Padberg, DJane Nina Kraviz or gastronome Roland Mary.
