How do the denim trends for f/w 2014/15 will look like? What silhouettes, colors, cuts and washings are going to be important? We ask people from the industry and designers about their opinions. Let's start with the denim silhouette for men!

Philipp Walendy, Product Manager ADenim: "For men slim fit, skinny and tapered fit silhouettes will definitely dominate. Especialy the tapered fit with higher waist, but a straight leg are going to be important. When it comes to raw denim we rely on straight fir models, which you can combine with boots."

Daniel Ivarsson, Designer Dr Denim:
"Male and female have a relaxed and worn in look taken inspiration from surreal environments and seditious writings."

Åsa Göransson, Head of Design Freeman T. Porter: "The silhouettes for men moves slower than for woman. We are still working on a slim look for men but with more casual fitted waistline and crotch."

Rebekka Bach, Head Designer G-Star:
"The look emphasises Raw Denim and black coated jeans. The silhouettes are designed with thought though lengths to create beautiful winter layering. Like for example the 3301 slim for men with an elongated rise, and shirts for men which have been cut slim and lean."

Mette Bang, Designer Junk de Luxe:
"In terms of cuts, I think the clean cut with a slim silhouette and few, but thoroughly chosen, details are important trends for denim."

Kuyichi, Designteam: "Inspired by the classic British styling of men during the twenties and the thirties. The everyday man will elevate to a more tailored level. Skinny jeans, blazers and traditional shapes form the basis of these timeless classics with a contemporary twist."

Vendula Ahleit, Product Merchandiser:
"Performance denim, modern comfort and an authentic character are central to this season’s denim collection, with slim cuts in multiple shades, vintage washes and broken twill."
