Apart from the major shows Panorama and Premium and their connected platforms Selvedge Run respectively Show & Order and Seek there is even more going on in the German capital. Take a look...

On Tuesday it’s time for #Fashiontech again. This season the tech conference located at Kraftwerk in Berlin Mitte is dedicated to the topic ‘Future of Work’. During several speeches, workshops and master classes #Fashiontech wants to provide answers to the question how digitization creates new jobs, but also changes current work and company structures.
Among the comprehensive list of speakers are renowned names such as Gary Wassner (CEO Hilldun Corporations), Ana Andjelica (Chief Brand Officer Rebecca Minkoff), Christoph Bornschein (co-founder & CEO Torben, Lucie Und Die Gelbe Gefahr) and Alfredo Orobio (founder and CEO, Awaytomars UK).

15 January, 10am-6pm
Kraftwerk Berlin-Mitte, Köpenicker Straße 70

Another full-day conference is waiting for Berlin visitors on Wednesday: FashionSustain put the topic ‘Water’ on its agenda. At the Kraftwerk location everything from micro plastics to ‘water stewardship’ will be discussed to find strategies for companies how to analyze their negative impact on nature by using and polluting water and how to reduce these effects. Keynote speaker is Clare Press, Sustainability Editor-at-Large at Vogue Australia, author and fair fashion activist. Other speakers include Philipp Wagnitz, Director International Freshwater Resources of WWF, Micke Magnusson, CEO of sustainable Swedish dying company Spindye, and Amira Jehia, co-founder of fair sweater label Blue Ben.
Next to the conference stage there will be an exhibition area to feature a “showcase of change“ presenting material innovations, prototypes and research projects.

The location at Kraftwerk and the idea behind remain the same, still Neonyt is a premiere. It’s the re-birth of former ‘green’ events Greenshowroom and Ethical Fashion Show. Neonyt is meant to work as a ‘global hub for fashion, sustainability and innovation’ and therefore has a wider, more comprehensive approach combining ‘style, business, inspiration, knowledge, fun and community’-as the organizer Messe Frankfurt announces. While the fashion aspect of the green brands is put in the focus, the innovation and sustainable concept behind shall be underlined by putting Neonyt and the conferences Fashionsustain by Messe Frankfurt and #Fashiontech by Premium Group as well as the design-thinking-format Thinkathon (supported by Otto Group, Bikini Berlin and EU initiative Textile and Clothing Business Labs), the Neonyt fashion show, several showcases, the influencer and blogger event Prepeek, networking sessions and the Neonyt party all under one roof.
Neonyt Trade Fair–just as Fashionsustain Conference-puts the relation between fashion and water in the center of the trend topics. Among the exhibitors are established labels such as Bleed, Ecoalf, Kavat, Lanius, LangerChen, Les Racines du Ciel and SKFK, but also newcomers such as Graciela Huam, Cossac, Suite 13, Dedicated and Swedish Stockings.
