The organizers of New Heritage have cancelled the B2C events, which were supposed to take place in Munich from 9-10 May 2020 and in Düsseldorf from 5-6 December respectively. In an official announcement it says:
“The Corona pandemic has placed us in an unprecedented situation for a few weeks now, which has kept each of us busy and had far-reaching consequences for many - including New Heritage. With the decision of the Federal Government and the Federal States agreed on 15.04.2020, it is now finally clear that we have to cancel the New Heritage on 09 & 10 May 2020.
Due to the lack of planning security and the uncertainty as to when trade fairs for exhibitors, visitors and all other parties involved can be successfully held again, it is economically too great a risk for us to postpone the event to a later date. It is therefore with a heavy heart that we have to announce that New Heritage will no longer be held for an indefinite period of time.”
The cancellation also includes the Düsseldorf edition, that was scheduled for December 2020. New Heritage was created as an event open to the public where only brands that met certain criteria of craftsmanship were allowed to exhibit and in 2019 ran events in Munich and Düsseldorf.
