It seems that the alliance between Gartex India and Texprocess India gives the denim segment within Gartex a push: The second edition of Denim Show @ Gartex Texprocess India is just around the corner.

It seems that the strategic alliance between the organizers of apparel and textile trade fair Gartex India (MEX Exhibitions) and Texprocess India (Messe Frankfurt’s international trade fair for processing textiles), gives the denim segment within Gartex a further push: The second edition of Denim Show @ Gartex Texprocess India is just around the corner, running August 10-12 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

While it still runs as a part of Gartex Texprocess, organizers changed the title from last year’s “Denim Zone“ into “Denim Show” for this year’s edition. In association with the Denim Manufacturers Association (DMA) the event aims for 50+ denim companies. According to the current exhibitor list so far around 30 denim producers are on board, among them prominent names such as Arvind, Raymond UCO, Jindal, R|Elan, Creora and Ginni.

Apart from the exhibitor roaster more effort is put in the side program: This year, the show is themed “Denim 4.0 with four pillars – sustainability, circular denim, technology and future trends – redefining the future of denim.” Through the conference format “Denim Talks” held on August 12 in-depth input on the mentioned topics shall be given. Among the key speakers will be Arvind Mathur of Raymond UCO Denim, Sumit Shah of Bombay Hemp Company, Ravikant Prakash of Arvind and Elin Larsson of Elco.
