White show, held in Milan from 24 to 26 September 2016, has closed its doors registering 22,176 visitors (+10% compared with September 2015) and 16% more foreign buyers, most of whose from Japan, China, Northern Europe and USA.
The show occupied over 20,000 sq. meters (+ 12% more than in September 2015), presenting five new exhibiting areas and hosted over 500 exhibitors representing 346 Italian companies and 164 foreign ones (32% of the total). Out of the total exhibitors there were 200 new entries.
Among new pavilions, Whiteast has just debuted, presenting Chinese contemporary fashion brands such as, for instance, Jinnnn.
Other special areas were dedicated to Georgia, Belgium, Portugal and Argentina that chose White for presenting their novelties. Great attention was given to the Break Time project that hosted four designers from Estonia, Georgia, Belgium and Kazakhstan.
Some of the most interesting brands seen at the show include Simongato, hosted at the Whiteast area. The newborn Red Area pavilion hosted only debuting brands, presenting some interesting brands including Chiglio, who offer innovative printed tops, and Francesca Castagnacci, a line of geometrical bags. Also interesting were Steve J Kay bags, Essentiel totallooks, Rude Riders helmets and casualwear, Mr & Mrs Shirt, an impressive line of shirts.
White’s international expansion projects will continue with a series of worldwide trunk shows as part of a global promotion project started in collaboration with ICE.
