The Tommy Hilfiger Group, which is wholly owned by PVH, has announced the appointment of Gernot Lenz as Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Europe. The role has been newly created within Tommy Hilfiger Europe, and is effective immediately.

After graduating in business administration, Lenz worked for seven years at Bain & Company before joining Tommy Hilfiger in Amsterdam in 2007. Over the years, he has held roles of Business Development Manager, Director Corporate Planning and VP Group Strategic Planning within the Group.

In April, 2010, Mr. Lenz took on the position of SVP Operations & Business Development, and became EVP three years later. In his new capacity, Lenz will continue to report directly to  Grieder.
Lenz continues to work in the Tommy Hilfiger Europe management team, which also includes Martijn Hagman as Chief Financial Officer and Grieder as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
