Tom Tailor Group’s start of the fiscal year 2014 has been characterized by increased sales of its two retail segments Tom Tailor and Bonita (+5.1% to EUR 127.6 million). Taking a closer look both labels, Tom Tailor sales grew by 13.3%. Also the e-commerce business experienced a boost during the first three months of 2014, with a 28.9% sales growth.

The Bonita label has managed to elevate its gross profit margin up to 69.3%, in part due to an adjusted sales strategy and the further shift of sourcing activities towards the company-owned purchasing organization. The sales figures present a reduction of 6.3% in the first quarter.

Dieter Holzer, CEO of the Tom Tailor Group, commenting on the results: “The current results for the first quarter confirm the targets of our two brands: Tom Tailor has successfully continued its course of growth. Bonita on the contrary has clearly focused on qualitative and profitable growth […]. We will continue this path with discipline and vigor”.

Tom Tailor Group will publish the complete first quarter 2014 results on 8 May 2014.
