Due to an optimized forecast, the third edition of Gallery Berlin was able to present an even wider range than ever with over 100 collections sourced from 11 countries. Around 2,000 international buyers came to the central Café Moskau and are already ordering for the racing season ahead.

With a new schedule the tradeshow showed from 15th – 17th January 2013 the trends for Autumn/Winter 2013/2014. The spectrum ranges from trend oriented contemporary fashion, established and young designers, to accessories that meet the demand of individualism.

Philipp Kronen, Managing Partner of the Igedo Company, comments: “Our costumers could initiate many dealings. Especially positive. For the first time ever, we were able to welcome many Russian buyers. With over 100 collections the fully booked up Café Moskau has finally reached its capacity limits.”

Elke Sautter, project leader of The Gallery Berlin, concludes: “Of course we have demands of extension, which we cannot honour. Thus, we have to bear in mind to thrive at the location Berlin.”

Many new exciting designers and brands showed up at the tradeshow for the first time. New entrants were Danish designer Trine Kryger Simonsen, the Italian brands Phisique du Role and Oblique as well as German brands Viola Ballin and Queen and Princess.

The next The Gallery Berlin takes place from 2nd – 4th july 2013 in Berlin, parallel to Fashion Week.
