Lifestyle brand Tom Tailor has received two awards for its e-shop In the current study "Best Online Shop Fashion 2011" conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality, the Tom Tailor e-shop received the quality seal "excellent" in the category shipping quality and is thus amongst the top three online shops. Above all, the Tom Tailor e-shop convinced the jury in the shipping test with the fastest delivery time of orders. The simple and quick order process, the low flat rates for packaging and insurance, the excellent product quality and the convenient return procedure also received positive ratings.

The fashion group´s e-shop also racked up points with the “Shop Usability Award 2011” and came out as the winner in the category fashion. Dieter Holzer, CEO of the Tom Tailor group said: “With an average growth in revenues of 62% over the past three years, the e-shop represents one of our key sales channels.”

The Hamburg-based group just recently expanded its successful e-commerce business. The Tom Tailor iPhone apps are available since February 2011. The two e-shops for France and Belgium have been online since March. The fashion group is now present in five countries with its online shop, including Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. In 2010, the e-shop generated revenues of €21.8 million. For the medium term it is expected to generate 10% of total revenues.

In the study, the market researchers analysed 16 online shops regarding service quality by telephone and e-mail, Internet presence, shipping quality and order and payment conditions.
