Tom Tailor has opened its 200th retail store in Venlo, the Netherlands. The lifestyle company has increased the number of its own retail stores from 87 at the end of 2009 to 158 at the end of 2010 and now runs 200 stores. In the current financial year, the company intends to open a total of 60 to 70 new retail stores in Germany and abroad. “The opening of our 200th retail store is a milestone in our expansion. We still see considerable growth potential for Tom Tailor Casual and Tom Tailor Denim,” comments Dieter Holzer, CEO of Tom Tailor Holding AG, Hamburg.

The retail store with 114sqm in Venlo is the first Tom Tailor Denim store in the Netherlands. It is located right in the center of the city, on Maasboulevard, a newly built shopping and office complex. In the Benelux countries, the company now has a total of seven stores.
