The 100% made in Italy premium denim line Sartoria Tramarossa has recently been re-launched. The brand, founded and previously owned by the Chemello family, had been sold to Italservices in 2011

Despite this fact, the family remained involved in managing the brand because of their over 30-years denim expertise and know-how of the industry. Only recently the family managed to redeem Sartoria Tramarossa and re-launched through their own new company On Industry in Sarcedo and presented it at Pitti Uomo in January 2014 and Panorama Berlin in July 2014.

After presenting an about 100-jean-item selection for both men and women launched for f/w 2014/2015, they launched a 160-piece collection of jeans to be delivered for s/s 2015 and a women’s pre-delivery selection (to be in stores for Christmas holidays) of trousers characterized by a belt covered with Swarovski stones and detachable crystal-covered rivets to be retailed at about €400.

More minimalistic are men’s trousers focused on selvedge denim and inner belts built like those employed for tailor-made men’s trousers as well as a series of special models offered in special packaging, completed by luxury details such as a detachable back label (to be also exchanged with other variants in crocodile, snakeskin and other luxury materials), 24 karat golden coated buttons and initials (for the Titolo 24 limited edition version) accompanied by a special Prosecco gift bottle (for the Millesimato Special Edition). Retail prices range from €180 up to €400-€450 for special editions.

The brand is now sold in 35 countries worldwide through 600 stores. Thirty percent of its sales come from Italy, while good results are also coming from Benelux and Japan. Germany and UK are starting to appreciate the brand. On Industry will close 2014 registering €8 million sales expected to reach about €20 million by end 2016.
