Fashion brand Superdry has announced plans for its first branded retail stores in Germany, beginning with its first store in Munich this May and a second store in Berlin set to open in July during Berlin Fashion Week. “Because of Superdry’s success in Germany we decided to open stores in selected locations. Headquarters in Cheltenham, UK supports us with our plans,” explains Henrik Soller, CEO of Komet und Helden, the Munich-based agency that has taken over distribution of the British label in Germany and Austria. For the retail rollout, Soller and his partner Florian Ranft have established a new company called KUH Retail that will operate and manage all stores. Currently Superdry is in 500 doors in Germany and Austria and operates 55 stores worldwide.
