Düsseldorf had a successful and busy order weekend over July 28-31. Although many from the fashion industry were at first sceptical, spirits were high by the end of the affair. About 1,000 showrooms around Kaiserswerther Straße, Rather Straße and Hafen reported positive business.

The Gallery had a successful debut at the former Consulate General on Cecilienallee 5. The fair presented over 200 collections on a total space of 5,000 sqm with a brand portfolio that included Adax, Baum und Pferdgarten, Bitte Kai Randm Ischiko, Mongrels in Common, Swiss label Polo's For You, Belle Sauvage, Karen by Simonsen, Manouk and others.

The change in location has proven fruitful with many retailers who normally do their orders at Kaiserswerther Straße now able to see the new collections. Situated in the center of the event, the catering area served as the visitors’ main meeting point and the shuttle bus from Karl-Arnold-Platz to the “Botschaft” got plenty of use.

Finally, Düsseldorf Fashion House featured the new show “Date,” which started with a kick-off party featuring life music, gourmet food and 300 guests.
