Starting this weekend, September 3-6, 2011, Paris once again will be the host of fashion fairs Prêt-à-Porter Paris, Who’s Next and Première Classe at Porte de Versailles. The summer 2012 editions will focus on know-how, new emerging countries, and features new brands from all over the world, exhibitions promoting creations, an inspiring trend forum, daily artistic catwalk shows, and a lot more.

Who’s Next will be divided into three fashion areas: Fame, the creation area for famous brands and designers of women’s fashion that will feature 200 brands; Private, a selection of womenswear brands with international recognition, also offering 200 exhibiting brands; and Face, the area with 270 urban and sportswear mixed brands.

There will also be some new initiatives such as Sixty Days, located in hall 3, that features an international selection of short-term circuit experts which show the season’s best-selling products. Moreover, Cruise, a trend forum that focuses on swimwear and beachwear, will take place in Private’s hall 2.2. The “Kid’s Route” identifies all participating brands in Who’s Next and Première Classe that are exhibiting a kid’s collection within their adult collections.

Furthermore, the “Men Focus” that was already initiated in January of 2011, continues its ascent. 280 brands will exhibit at Who’s Next and Première Classe, 105 of them are newcomers such as Faconnable Jeans, Joe’s, or Pantofola d’Oro.

Last but not least, there will be a new version of the Who’s Next Blog Contest. The 15 selected winners (5 womenswear designers, 5 menswear designers, and 5 accessory designers) will be invited to present their collections at the two trade shows with the names of the final winners being revealed on Monday, September 5, at 6pm.
