At the next edition of Londonedge and Londoncentral, which will take place Feb. 6-8 at London’s Olympia National Hall, a list of young British brands will have their debut. Alongside key established fashion brands, the trade exhibition gives designers that are fresh from college or those influenced by the underground London scene a platform to show their work.

Amongst the fresh newcomer labels presented at Londonedge, is for example the creative project ‘The Sick Kids’ which was launched by three London girls with a love for rap and a talent for fashion. ‘Little Miss Delicious’ is another young London brand, specializing in food-themed jewelry with pieces that look good enough to eat. Furthermore, UK fair-trade company Fresh Cargo will be bringing two new brands to Londonedge in February. Their ‘Flip Flop and Fangs’ line was founded by comedy actor Luke McGibney and fair-trade fashionista Rebecca Gray. In addition, the pair will also launch their alternative streetwear label ‘Twisted Playground’ for the very first time at the show. Last but not least, Luna Jewellery is a new label that will be launched at Londoncentral by the team behind Manchester fair-trade brand Junk Shop.

While Londonedge, launched in the year of 2000, represents a more extreme, alternative edge, Londoncentral covers and supports street, urban, skate etc. with a more extreme edge than the usual mainstream collections. Both shows house women’s and men’s collections, including apparel, footwear, giftware, accessories and lifestyle merchandise. The shows’ opening hours are from 10am to 6pm both on Feb. 6+7, and from 10am to 3pm on Feb. 8.
