German s.Oliver group has appointed Mokhtar Benbouazza as new Head of Marketing, effective since April 1, 2011. In this position, the 32-year-old is responsible for the divisions of marketing, new media, and public relations. His aim is to further emotionalize the fashion label as well as to push the international direction of s.Oliver in the field of marketing. He reports to Thorsten Grönlund, Managing Director Marketing, Product & Sourcing at s.Oliver.

Mokhtar Benbouazza comes from the Universal Music GmbH in Berlin, where he held the position of Director Marketing & Sales Fashion since 2008 and developed amongst other things marketing and communication strategies and headed the international licence business. Previously, from 2003 to 2008, he worked as Managing Director for the Combat Management & Marketing GmbH.
