Rottendorf-based retailer S.Oliver has appointed Guido Johnen as new Head of Design S.Oliver Casual Men, effective since Jan. 1, 2011. Johnen succeeds Mathias Jobst who took over the position as Division Head Casual Men at the beginning of the year. In his new position, Johnen will further push forward the development of the young and casual segment’s direction, and will directly report to Mathias Jobst.

Guido Johnen comes from Marc O’Polo International, Stephanskirchen, where he was Head of Design Men since 2005 and was in charge of the departments design men casual, buying retail men casual, as well as tailoring. Previously, he worked for Esprit Wholesale GmbH in Ratingen where he at first was Area Manager and responsible for the region Bavaria as well as the newly formed German states, and later became Key Account Manager Men Collection. Since 2003, the 44-year-old was Sales Manager Men Collection Germany.
