Sportswear International, with its global headquarters in Milan, Italy, has proven again to be one of the most important b2b fashion magazines around. In a ranking about the fastest-growing trade magazines, just published by the German marketing newspaper Horizont, Sportswear International was at the top of all listed publications.

Sportswear International’s turnover in 2005 grew by almost 32% compared to the year before, to a total of 8.58 million euro. This follows the tendency in the trade magazine market.

The magazine’s publishing house, Germany’s Deutscher Fachverlag (aka DFV), based in Frankfurt am Main, can look back on a successful year. DFV ranked No. 1 in the list of trade-title publishing houses: its 2005 turnover was 95 million euro, an increase of almost 6% from the year before. Apart from Sportswear International, DFV’s other important fashion publications include the Textilwirtschaft (Germany) and Fashion (Italy).
