Retrosuperfuture, the Italian company behind the Super Sunglasses brand, has opened its first New York City flagship store on 22 November.

The new multifunctional space named after the company’s brand was co-designed by Italian architect Andrea Caputo. It is located on 21 Howard Street (between Chinatown and Manhattan) and offers the complete selection of the Super Sunglasses brand.

The company was founded in 2007 and has built up its success by developing high-quality eyewear characterised by classic, distinctive design, yet offered at affordable prices.

To celebrate the opening the company created the special sunglasses model “Novanta”, which is characterised by a minimalistic silhouette. The new model is made with Italian made black acetate and completed by top quality Carl Zeiss extra black rock hard lenses and a customized leather case.
