From 15th to 17th January, parallel to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, 27 international Labels presented their collections of sustainable luxury fashion, beauty, lifestyle, products and accessories at GREENshowroom.

Held in the suites of The Hotel Adlon Kempinski, The GREENshowroom is situated next to The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin, which, with 98 brands sourced from 21 nations, is the most important platform for sustainable fashion in Europe.

This year the tradeshow experienced international growth as well as increased visitor numbers. “We’re pleased about the increasing interest from visitors in the GREENshowroom and the high quality of our international exhibitors, who showed once again how glamorous green fashion can be” says Detlef Braun, CEO of Messe Frankfurt.

Next to labels such as Animanà (Argentinia), Leibschneider (Germany), My Biotiful Bag (France), Royal Blush by Jana Keller (Switzerland) or SeeMe (Netherlands), which have already shown their High-Fashion collections in previous years, newcomer labels such as 6 Miles Horizon (Poland), Koblender (Austria) or Stefanie Masotto (Italia) brought about an international growth.

The GREENshowroom founders Magdalena Schaffrin and Jana Keller are very pleased with the project: “The huge positive response from the exhibitors as well as the amount of new enrolments shows us, that our concept is the right path to take.”

The next GREENshowroom takes place from 2nd till 4th July 2013.
