On August 30 Replay held an inaugural party for its new flagship at the Daikanyama T-Site, a new shopping destination based in the very heart of Tokyo's luxurious and pleasantly creative Shibuya fashion district. The event also featured a fashion show and the unveiling of an art installation called "An alternative way to see nature: broken mechanics" by the Kumaneko Team, a collective of young Japanese artists involved with the Fondazione Claudio Buziol.

The 465 sqm store, which offers a selection from Replay, We Are Replay and the Red Seal brands as well as Replay footwear and accessories, was designed according to the label's new store concept, also developed for the freshly redone Stockholm and London stores and the recently opened Beijing flagship. Special decorations include the Denim Cube, an iron shelf devised in order to present a wide selection of denim items, and the Shoebox, a versatile iron bookshelf designed in order to better present accessories and footwear. The two-story boutique is naturally lit thanks to its wide windows while varying hues, materials and furniture characterize the store's two main areas in which darker shades and industrial materials such as raw iron and concrete are juxtaposed with light colors and red cedar wood.

Matteo Sinigaglia, CEO of Fashion Box, commented: "By opening the Daikanyama flagship store, we renew our tribute to industrial design and nature and present our products within an extraordinary setting that highlights the great degree of craftsmanship taking place here."
