Subsidiary retailing group Runners Point has accomplished a net marketing achievement of €166.2 million, which equates to a 12.9% growth on a year-over-year basis. This result includes all 167 Runner’s Point stores, the online and catalogue business hosted by affiliate Tredex GmbH, and the revenues of the 25 stand-alone franchises.

Runners Point’s e-business activities have recorded strong growth especially due to the merging of the two online shops and Tredex increased its revenue by 105%; the group’s consolidated turnover now amounts to €164 million.

Runners Point is present in Germany, The Netherlands, Austria and, most recently, in Switzerland. In 2012, the company will emphasize its multichannel approach. In addition, the network of stores will add 10-15 sites and 10-15 new franchisees.
