A new limited edition style, the 879, designed after the original Red Wing Shoes 877 style, has been launched in Europe. Designed in the 1950s, the original 877 was made for hunting. To this day, the so-called “traction tred” sole with its typical white color and superior leather make this shoe unique to the footwear market. The new limited edition boot, meanwhile, is made of beautifully oiled suede leather called Hawthorne Muleskinner, a signature leather of Red Wing Shoes. Only 154 pairs will be available, with 66 in selected stores in Germany. The price is €299.
