According to several media reports Björn Gulden, former Norwegian footballer and current chairman of the executive board of jewellery manufacturers Pandora A/S, will replace Puma CEO Franz Koch. Rumours also spread that he has already signed a contract with the sports equipment maker.

Puma declines to comment on the media reports, but remarked that as a stock market listed company, they would have the duty of notification. The facts are that none of the media assumptions have been officially confirmed, either by Puma, or by Pandora.

A confirmed staff note is however, that Volfango Bondi has been appointed as the new General Manager for Europe. The 47 year old succeeds Sergio Bucher (49) who has decided to leave the company. Bondi is based at the headquarter in Herzogenaurach, Germany, and reports directly to CCO Stefano Caroti.Volfango Bondi came to Puma in 2009 and held the position of Director Global Sales. Before joining Puma, Bondi was in the leading sales positions at Nike Italy and Nike Europe.
