According to rumours circulating in the market, the Ireland-based fast fashion chain Primark plans to enter the Italian market and open its first local stores by the end of 2015.

After having opened about 270 stores in nine countries (mostly in Europe, especially in the UK and Germany), Primark now focusses on Italy, specifically the country's Northern part (the Milan and Venice areas) and Central Italy with the surroundings of Rome.

The company's only difficulty in finalizing its Italian expansion plans seem to be finding suitable locations - Primark stores are usually located in large locations either based in city centres or important shopping malls.
