The Irish fashion chain Primark is going to open a new shop in Cologne (Germany) on the 2nd of May. The store’s location will be the Neumarkt Gallery, a central shopping mall where Primark will offer a large assortment of its men, women and children collections on three different floors and on a surface of 8.300 square meters. 789 jobs will be created with the new opening.

Breege O’Donoghue, board member of Primark: “We are very happy to be now represented in Cologne - Germany's fourth largest city with a long history and in the midst of a densely populated, dynamic region. I am sure that we’ll meet the taste of the people of Cologne with our fashion and enrich decisively the offer in the city."

Primark’s establishment in Cologne is the enterprise’s twelfth store in Germany. The Irish fashion chain, famous for offering trend-conscious clothes at a considerable low price, has also stores in Bremen, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Dortmund, Hannover, Saarbrücken, Essen, Berlin, Karlsruhe and Düsseldorf. In Europe, the company runs a total of 269 businesses.
