Esthetica will promote sustainable fashion at London Fashion Week 13– 17 September 2013. Founded by the British Fashion Council in September 2006, the show is now in its fifteenth consecutive season. Eleven sustainable fashion brands, including People Tree, Ada Zanditon, Katrien Van Hecke, Liora Lassalle and Lorico, will exhibit their S/S14 collections in a showroom housed in the West Wing of Somerset House during the five day showcase.

All designers adhere to at least one of the key Esthetica principles: fair trade and ethical practice in the production process; the inclusion of organic fibres or the use of up-cycled and recycled fabrics and materials. Since its inception, Esthetica has supported more than 100 designers from over 20 countries. For the sixth consecutive season Yooxygen,’s eco-friendly initiative, will launch the designers’ A/W13 collections to coincide with the first day of London Fashion Week this September.

Caroline Rush, CEO, British Fashion Council: “This season’s Esthetica showroom will exhibit some of the strongest sustainable fashion brands to date. The exciting mix of both established brands and emerging designers makes Esthetica the leading showcase of ethical fashion.”
