Philipp Plein has taken the next step of its expansion plan and opened up a new flagship store on Via della Spiga 25 in Milan. The 50 sqm store is the brand’s second in Italy and was designed by the architectural firm AquiliAlberg. The space combines the pure, minimalistic aesthetics central to the Philipp Plein Home Collection with the unconventional and alternative luxury of the brand’s apparel. The dominant color is white, which creates a contrast with the lava stone floors and storage and display elements, which are made of metal and ostrich leather. As an integral part of the overall store concept, a Swarovski Elements-studded skull with serves as another eye-catcher.
Alongside the Milan shop, Philipp Plein runs another 12 flagship stores in Monte Carlo, Vienna, Moscow, Kitzbühel, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Forte dei Marmi, Düsseldorf, Marbella, Baku, Saint Petersburg and Seoul, with two more set to open in Seoul and Dubai in the near future.
