Last month Switzerland-based fashion brand Philipp Plein appointed Kevin Ziegler as its new retail manager. The position was newly created in preparation for the company’s extensive expansion plans and the opening of further mono-brand stores. In his new role, Ziegler will operatively and strategically lead all Philipp Plein stores. He shall promote a constant retail expansion and further advocate the international orientation of the brand.

For the last ten years, the 32-year-old business economist has been working for Peek & Cloppenburg KG Düsseldorf where he most recently served as managing director of the department store’s branch in Karlsruhe.

Philipp Plein launched his fashion line in 2004. The luxury brand currently runs ten stores worldwide at high-end locations in Dubai, Milan, Monte Carlo, Vienna, Moscow, Saint Tropez, Kitzbühel, Cannes, Düsseldorf and Forte dei Marmi. For 2012, further mono-brand shops are planned to open in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Baku, Marbella, Berlin and London.
