Pieers Corporation made the pages of Guinness World Records recently when it unveiled a 43.13 x 30-meter-wide pair of jeans weighing 7.5 tons. The Peruvian company showcased the world’s largest pair of jeans at the end of October in the San Juan de Lurigancho textile district east of Lima. The jean, adorned with pockets, red buttons and a brown belt, was cut from over 3,000 meters of cloth, required nine people to finish and 200 cranes to mount.
