Turkish denim manufacturer Orta has just released its first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report to the public.

Having constantly shown interest in being a socially and environmentally conscious company, Orta is now taking its commitment even more seriously by becoming the first among the major players in the denim manufacturing industry to issue a CSR Report.

The report shows the company's efforts in many fields including: energy and water consumption, chemical waste, human resources and similar issues. The report also refers to a series of initiatives that are aimed at supporting human rights causes and eco-minded initiatives such as traditional weaving in small Turkish villages and denim recycling initiatives, the Protect Water project and children's educational projects.
