According to the German Textilwirtschaft, eco-jeans manufacturer Kuyichi International BV will permanently stop operating. After filing for insolvency in December 2015 and Kuyichi not being able to find an investor, it is now certain that the label will close its doors on 19 January, 2016.
As reported the company is “no longer able to produce and deliver” the spring/summer 2016 collection for the delivery period between January and March. This information was conveyed through a newsletter the label sent out to their customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Kuyichi has been on the market since 2011 and was a well-established eco-denim brand next to brands like Nudie.
