The Icelandic streetwear brand Nikita has partnered with the lifestyle blog and emerging label Copson St to create a capsule collection for this spring/summer season. The line has been developed by Maria Falbo, founder of Copson St and passionate skater, and the label co-designer Emily Deyn (sister of British topmodel Agyness Deyn).

Nikita’s founder and head designer Heida Birgisdottir has been friends with Maria Falbo for many years, as she became a skater of Nikita’s team five years ago. At the same time, she initiated her blog Copson St, which quickly gained relevance and turned into a brand, webstore and a collective of creative individuals.

Inspired by skateboarding and tropical elements, the collection consists of 15 designs with floral prints and skate themes. Among the products, you can find swimwear, running shorts and baseball jackets with a college look. The color palette is very summerlike, dominated by acid washed pastels, blue, pink and purple. All pictures of the campaign were shot by Icelandic photographer Saga Sig, who has also worked for labels such as Topshop und Burberry.

Nikita was founded by Heida Birgisdottir in Iceland, in 2000. The brand is commercialized in the US, Canada, Australia and several North European countries.
