Girls' active/streetwear brand Nikita has revealed its new fall/winter '14 collection with a more fashionable approach. Since the brand was aquired by Finish sporting goods company, Amer Sports, in 2011, Nikita has gone through some organizational reforms, including a new headquarter location and new category extensions into hardgoods, boots and bindings.

For the upcoming winter season, the Iceland-born label now presents its collection themed “Journey’s” with the two design stories Crossroads and Wildwood. The collection shows a monochromatic palette of greys and blues, rose-plums and browns. Pieces range from jackets and knits to denim and hoodies, with a line of active apparel. Brand Director Carla Murphy: "In addition to enhancing our design aesthetic we have dedicated more time to quality and fit, the merchandising of the procut, and overall assortments, making the pieces easy to wear."

The accompanying campaign was art directed by Justin Greenleaf, a well known luxury fashion and sports Creative Director who has already worked for brands such as Rapha, Gucci, Tom Ford, and Costume National.
