After a successful summer show that included 13,000 visitors and 121 fashion and lifestyle publications and media outlets, Shanghai’s Novomania International Fashion Trade Show has set its sights on an even more fruitful event in July 2013. The show presents the latest global trends in urbanwear and contemporary chic with a focus on bringing together retailers and developers to move the Chinese fashion revolution forward.

In order to give brands the latest information on China’s fashion market and build excitement for next year’s fair, Novomania will be conducting a series of seminars in major fashion cities, traveling to places like Milan, Tokyo, London, Frankfurt, Oporto, Los Angeles, New York and many major Chinese cities as well. The next show will take place right after the most important European fairs from July 17-19, 2013 at the Shanghai Mart right in the middle of downtown Shanghai. Among its various changes and improvements, the next show will also benefit from a $30 million investment from the KKR China Growth Fund L.P.

Novomania General Manager Guilherme Faria said: “Novomania 2013 has the same vision and mission as ever: to create the focal point and discerningly selective quality fashion platform in China where top international and local urban fashion brands, buyers, department stores, real estate and media professionals can meet and cross-pollinate. By taking the show downtown, we’re making that process easier and more effective than ever before, while the new dates enable brands to actually take orders at the show before the conclusion of the European, Asian and American seasons. This ensures more than ever that Novomania Shanghai 2013 will be the open gateway to China and where the future of China’s fashion industry will be defined.
