French jeans label Notify and designer Manish Arora, who was born in India but is based in London, have partnered for an exclusive cooperation. Maurice Oyahon, founder of Notify: “We admire the work of Manish and his incredible know-how regarding colors and decoration.“ The two enterprises decided to work together for a challenging project to give a sense of couture to the collection of Notify.

Eight pieces were already created for the fashion show of Manish Arora in Paris in September 2011, showing extraordinary jeans and pants in bright colors and dip-dyes also in gold and full of ornaments being typical for Manish Arora. Out of some of these special pieces, Notify and Arora developed a capsule collection including 15 models using different colors, dyes, allover prints and decorations.

The special collection will be sold from the beginning of 2012, when the summer season will start being distributed to stores. The special items are sold in Manish Arora shops, the capsule collection is sold in concept stores like L’Eclaireur and Colette. Prices start from €455 to €800, the pieces that were shown at Paris Fashion Week are more expensive.

Notify was founded in 2003 in Paris as a luxurious ready-to-wear label and specialist in denim. The cooperation is not the first in the history of the brand. Founder Maurice Ohayon has already realized cooperations with Vanessa Bruno and Stella McCartney. Ohayon is also working on the collection K Karl Lagerfeld.

Manish Arora showed his first collection in 1997 in New Delhi. In the forthcoming years, he gained a large reputation and prizes in his home country India. In 2005, he moved to London, and since 2007 he shows his collection during Fashion Week in Paris. This year, Arora was appointed as Creative Director for the revival of the brand Paco Rabanne.
