and Designers Against AIDS are collaborating on the very first NYC Against HIV/AIDS Fashion Show this Friday dedicated to the awareness of safe sex for youth ages 13-24. The event is organized by Raoul Keil, Director of, Ninette Murk, Founder of Designers Against Aids, and Karen Jemmott, Director of Physician Outreach at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. All three suggest that fashion, entertainment and education could collide to present an impartial but realistic approach to young people on the virus. Events such as health lectures and screenings will take place at Brooklyn College from 4 to 9 pm on May 8; the show itself is scheduled to take place at Midwood High School in Brooklyn, one block from Brooklyn College, at 8 pm.
