For the fourth edition of the creative project titled “Nike Stylist’s Own” seven stylists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have interpreted Nike’s current S/S collection in a photo shoot with famous athletes and actors. This year’s motto, inspired by the World Cup, is “from sport to culture.” Thus, the heart of the collection and the shoot is the N98 jacket, which was inspired by the outfits of the Brazilian national team from the World Cup in 1998. In addition, Nike RED laces are part of the campaign, with sales of the items going to the fight against AIDS in Africa. The Nike sportswear styles are available at stores as well as online.

Amongst the models who participated in the project were German soccer players Sami Khedira and Clemens Fritz as well as German basketball player Steffen Hamann. The works of the stylists Christiane Graf, Jane Garber, Jan Joswig, Sergej Benedetter, Mia Bregar, Ulrike Schlüter and Tobias Frericks were shown in Berlin’s Clärchen’s Ballhaus earlier on Mar. 10 and featured in the magazine Style and The Family Tunes.

Since 2007 Nike has nominated each year seven renowned stylists to interpret its collections for the Stylist’s Own project.
