Following the success of its Jim Avignon Collection, New Yorker is collaborating with young artists once again. This month, the young fashion company will unveil an exclusive collection called “Serious Fresh” co-designed by the urban art group KLUB7. The six members of KLUB7, who hail from Halle and Berlin, are known as the most exceptional and productive heads of the current art world in Europe. Hired to attract New Yorker’s target group with its various styles of comics, urban art and illustration, KLUB7 has assembled a new collection of T-shirts, sweat-shirts, jackets, trousers and accessories for the retailer. Shirts and jackets come primarily with chest and all-over prints, while classical colors are mixed with neon brights such as purple, green, pink and blue, reflecting the signature usage of color by KLUB7. A portion of proceeds from the line will be donated to organizations supporting a variety of social projects.
